Mr. Cook emphasizes litigating serious injury cases. Recently he was the lead counsel in a fatal accident case involving Caltrans subcontractors which resulted in a $1.3 million settlement. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley and graduated from the John F. Kennedy School of Law in 1985. He was admitted to the California and Federal Bars and to the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Cook was President of the Contra Costa Barristers Association and is the current President-Elect of the Board of Directors of the Contra Costa County Bar Association.
